Ada Howe Kent fund

Ada Howe Kent funding, which is awarded on a competitive basis, is designed to promote faculty members’ ambitions in advancing their teaching and their research about teaching and the learning process. The competition is open to a wide range of proposals. This may include, for example: support for attending conferences and workshops related to teaching, funding for travel to develop materials for new courses or new modules in courses, tuition to cover costs for training in a skill or an approach that would advance teaching. Individual faculty members, a team of faculty members, and even faculty comprising a department or a program may submit proposals.

All members of the faculty are eligible for Ada Howe Kent grants, which must be used between October 15, 2021 and September 30, 2022.

There will be two rounds of funding. The first deadline will be on Thursday, September 30, 2021; the second will be on Friday, January 28, 2022.

Applicants should provide a current CV and a brief summary of the project for which support is sought, together with a calendar and detailed budget. All applications should be submitted via this google form, Ada Howe Kent Faculty Grants
