Welcome Catherine Cabeen
Catherine Cabeen will join the Middlebury Dance Faculty as Assistant Professor in Contemporary Dance and Choreography, beginning fall 2012. Catherine is artistic director of Catherine Cabeen and Company in Seattle, WA and former dancer with Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company. She received her MFA in Dance from the University of Washington, and is particularly interested in scholarship relating to dance history and gender studies. She will be teaching advanced technique and choreography in the fall and choreographing for the Dance Company of Middlebury.
