Verify the application deadlines . Deadline dates may be different for the Preapplication and the Common Application. The online application sites get very busy and can respond slowly near the deadline dates, so it is best to apply early.
Begin the process of applying online by reading the following instructions about creating an account, and then accessing Middlebury's Online Preapplication Supplement from the link below. A PDF version of the form is available for those who do not wish to apply online.
Creating an Account
First-time users will need to create an account before starting the Preapplication Supplement. Click on the link at the bottom of this page and follow the instructions. Once you have completed the form you should hit the "Application is Complete" button. You will then be given an opportunity to pay the $65.00 application fee with a credit card. You may also elect to mail the fee to our office, but we cannot process your file until the fee has arrived. We will send you a written confirmation that your application has been received.
Please do not submit your application until it is fully complete. If you need to make changes after you submit your application, please submit the changes in writing.
All supplementary materials including the graded essay and the Pre Application Supplement essay must be mailed by November 15 for Early Decision 1 and by January 1 for Regular Decision or Early Decision 2.
