Come and see us! Choosing a college is a big decision and we hope you will be able to take some time to explore our community here in Vermont.
Middlebury College welcomes visitors at the Admissions Office in the Emma Willard House at 131 South Main Street in Middlebury. Parking is available in the lot next to the Admissions office or in the lot behind the Kevin P. Mahaney '84 Center for the Arts (Lot Q on the campus map) a short walk from our office.
Weekday information sessions and campus tours are available and preregistration is recommended. Saturday morning information sessions and tours are also offered between July 19th and November 8th, 2014.
Please note: If you cannot access the day you wish to attend on the calendar of our Campus Visit page, please call our office to confirm availability of sessions and tours for that day. We offer tours year-round. During the academic year, tours are only offered when classes are in session.
If you would like to visit with a group of 10 or more, please send your request to firstname.lastname@example.org, preferably at least two weeks in advance. Group visits are not confirmed until you hear back from our office.
The Admissions Office is open for drop-in visitors, Monday through Friday 8:15 AM to 5 PM and Saturdays from July 19th to August 30 from 9 AM to12 PM. Starting September 6th and through November 8th, the Admissions Office will be open on Saturdays from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Scheduling a Classroom Visit
Prospective students are welcome to visit classes. Please consult the course schedule and keep in mind that classes at the 100 or 200 level are most appropriate. Please arrive a few minutes before class, or email the professor in advance to ask permission, as there may be an exam planned or other reason why it would be best not to have visitors that day.
