Come and see us! Choosing a college is a big decision and we hope you will be able to take some time to explore our community here in Vermont.
Middlebury College welcomes visitors at the Admissions Office in the Emma Willard House at 131 South Main Street in Middlebury. Parking is available in the lot next to the Admissions Office or in the lot behind the Center for the Arts (campus map) a short walk from our office.
Information Sessions and Tours
In January and early February, we will offer one daily information session during the week at 10AM with a tour at 11AM (during the winter term); the only exception will be Martin Luther King Day, when we will offer an additional afternoon information session at 1:30PM with the tour at 2:30PM.
Starting February 13th, our information sessions will be available twice daily, at 10AM and 1:30PM. Tours will follow at 11AM and 2:30PM. These times might change in late May for the summer. Once the times are set, online registration will be available.
We will not be able to offer tours during Febriary break, Winter Carnival, and Spring Break. Please see the academic calendar for dates.
Saturday morning information sessions and tours will resume in mid-July.
If you would like to visit with a group of 10 or more, fill out our group visit request form at least three weeks in advance. Please be advised, your request is pending approval by the Office of Admission. Visits are subject to the academic calendar and the availability of admission staff and student tour guides.
If you need any special accommodations, please contact Admissions at least two weeks in advance.
Visiting a Class
Prospective Students are welcome to visit classes. Please consult the course schedule and keep in mind that classes at the 100 or 200 level are most appropriate. Please arrive a few minutes before class, or email the professor in advance to ask permission, as there may be an exam planned or other reason why it would be best not to have visitors that day.
