The founders and first benefactors of the Performing Arts  Series were the College trustees, who, in 1919, underwrote a season of “entertainments” so that students could buy affordable tickets. Their generosity at that time created the series, and generosity today is allowing it to continue and thrive.

 

Since ticket sales cover only one third of the series’ operating costs, we rely on contributions to help support the work of bringing acclaimed artists and emerging alumni performers to campus. Members of the Performing Arts Series Society (PASS) provide much of this crucial support.

 

In appreciation for their patronage of the arts, members of PASS receive advance opportunities to purchase tickets, advance notice of special events, exclusive invitations, opportunities to meet artists, and more.

PATRON $100

• Advance preview of next season’s performances

ADVOCATE $500

All of the above benefits, plus:

• Five $2 coupons towards artist CDs or merchandise
• Priority ticket processing of up to 4 tickets per show (Sept. 10, 2012)

PARTNER $1,000

All of the above benefits, plus:

• Five additional $2 coupons (for a total of 10) towards artist CDs or merchandise
• Exclusive “concierge” phone line to assist with your ticketing and event needs

PRODUCER $2,500 and up

All of the above benefits, plus:

• Named sponsorship of one performance from the programmed season
• Acknowledgement of your generous sponsorship in all publicity, cover of the program and lobby signage
• A program and CD signed by the sponsored performance’s artist(s)
• Under special circumstances, a courtesy meet-and-greet with the sponsored performance’s artist(s)
• Invitation to lunch with the director of the Performing Arts Series

SCHOLARS  (For Middlebury students only, by application, no fee)

All of the above benefits, plus:

• Scholars-only reception in conjunction with one of the series performances
• “Like” the Performing Arts Series on Facebook (facebook.com/MiddPAS) to access an exclusive student group where you can discuss series events and receive additional artist information
• Promote three of our events on Facebook or Twitter and receive a complimentary student ticket to a series performance
• Invitations to exclusive events with series artists, when possible
