Students at the School in the Middle East have the option of a home-stay with an Egyptian family* or living with Egyptian roommates in university dormitories.
* Home-stay opportunities are limitted, and are particularly difficult to arrange for male students.
Male students in the dorms have single rooms in what is known as University City. Male participants on the program in the dorm reside on a hall that is designated for our program, and with Egyptian hall-mates that are selected by our on-site staff.
Female students who live in the women's dorm live in double rooms with Egyptian room-mates who are also selected by our staff. Both dormitories provide wireless internet and two meals a day.
Students who choose to live with host families may reside throughout the city, usually within 30 minutes of campus.
