At the School in Chile, students have the option of directly enrolling in eleven different universities in six distinct study abroad locations. Each city--Concepción, La Serena, Santiago, Temuco, Valdivia, and Valparaíso--has its own unique local flavor, and oftentimes its own climate.
Students on the program come in at the intermediate-advanced level of Spanish and are commited to developing their language skills. By adhering to the Middlebury Language Pledge, they reap the benefits of linguistic immersion for the duration of their time abroad. By living and studying with Chileans and involving themselves in the community through volunteer work, internships, and extracurricular activities, they have the chance to build authentic relationships and integrate fully into life in their host city.
