Dear Colleagues,

We continue to process the impacts of social distancing on our operations. Our recent decisions mean that many individuals are now working remotely, and others, while working on campus, are working in new ways that further social distancing. In light of these changes and given our intent to ensure pay continuity for our existing staff for as long as possible, we do not believe this is the time to add new employees to our workforce

Therefore, effective immediately, we have instituted a temporary hiring freeze that will continue until further notice. Current searches are suspended, and no new searches will be supported. Over the next several weeks, our recruitment team will reach out to candidates to share this information.

We are sorry for any difficulty this may cause, but the uncertainty of this time forces us into this (temporary) position.

We realize this may create a hardship for some departments and hope we can return to normal operations soon. Cooperation and teamwork between departments is especially important during this period. We appreciate your understanding and support.
