David Joulfaian is a Visiting Scholar from the US Department of the Treasury. He most recently taught at George Washington University, Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration, in Washington DC. His research interests include the behavioral effects of taxes, charitable giving, entrepreneurship, and intergenerational transfers. His works are published in a number of journals including the Journal of Political Economy, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Journal of Public Economics, Rand Journal of Economics, Review of Economics and Statistics, National Tax Journal, among others. David received his PhD from Northeastern University.
