School In France

The Middlebury School in France offers both academic-year and semester-long programs in Paris, Poitiers, and Bordeaux. Qualified students from any academic department may apply.

Paris 2

Students planning to participate in the program in Paris must have completed two full years of college credit at the time they undertake their study abroad; they must have taken at least one course beyond FREN 205 before going to France; and they must have an overall average of at least B- and an average in French of at least B. We expect all applicants to demonstrate their commitment to French by continuous study of French from the time of their enrollment at Middlebury, and to maintain their academic level if they are accepted. Students applying for a semester only are required to take FREN 230 or FREN 221.

For information about the three sites, courses offered, application procedures, and so on, see The C.V. Starr-Middlebury College School in France
