We want to give huge thanks and praise to seniors Aine Powers, Kian Lalji and Sam Bell for their leadership of the French Club. They are graduating and WE NEED YOUR HELP!  The club comes with a student activities budget and the freedom to plan events that you believe best represent French and Francophone Culture. Join us on Tuesday, April 30 from 5-7 pm for a casual picnic on the lawn at the French House at 51 Franklin St. RSVP required

On Saturday, May 4th the Language Teaching Assistants have organized a fun afternoon of “sporting” events (no special training required) to cap off a great year. Events will be held on Battell Beach from 1-5 pm. In the event of rain, the event will be moved to Sunday.  Please reach out to Jennilyn Leroy for more information.

    

On Saturday, May 11th we celebrate our seniors from 11-1 in the Grand Salon with a senior brunch. We look forward to celebrating the achievements of our seniors and in addition we will also be awarding two prizes that day. The Stephen A. Freeman Prize for academic excellence and the Edwin Joseph Hamblet MA ’64 Prize for contributions to the life of the department.  A formal invitation is forthcoming for all seniors of the department.
