Systems Neuroscientist, Tenure Track

Job announcement:

SYSTEMS NEUROSCIENTIST AT MIDDLEBURY COLLEGE.  We invite applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Program in Neuroscience within the area of Systems Neuroscience, beginning in Fall 2015.  Applicants should have a Ph.D. and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in both teaching and research.  Teaching responsibilities include: a sophomore level foundation course in neuroscience with lab, an upper level course in systems neuroscience, and a senior seminar in neuroscience.  The successful candidate is expected to establish an active research program using human subjects or a non-mammalian system.  Candidates should provide evidence of commitment to excellent teaching and of their desire to develop and sustain an active research program involving undergraduates.
