We strongly encourage you to visit Middlebury's campus. A campus visit is the best way to get to know the College, its offerings, and its environment.
Personal interviews are available by appointment for students who have completed the junior year. Appointments are scheduled from June through October and may be arranged by calling 802-443-3000. Candidates are encouraged to ask questions and to discuss issues of personal significance. Interviews are not required.
Group information sessions are offered from January through October on weekdays at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., and on Saturday mornings from August through October at 9 a.m. Sessions are generally not available on holidays, although there are some exceptions. Appointments are not required.
Student-led campus tours are usually available at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Monday through Friday to accommodate the above group information sessions, except during examination periods and vacations within the academic year. During the months of August, September and October tours are also available on Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. following the information session. Wear comfortable shoes!
Overnight visits are arranged by the Admissions Office for admitted students during the April Campus Preview days. Candidates are welcomed to make their own arrangements with friends if they wish to visit the campus prior to making an application.

Where to Stay, Where to Eat and Things to Do.
Please check out the Addison County Chamber of Commerce's web site, or the site for the Heart of Vermont Lodging Association, for a variety of information concerning visits to the area.
If You Can't Visit Campus.
Although visits are strongly encouraged for all applicants, students can add an important perspective to their investigation of Middlebury through the Alumni Admissions Program. About 2,900 alumni throughout the world are available to talk with prospective students about the College and its programs. Applicants living in the United States who have been unable to visit campus will be contacted by alumni for an interview. These interviews take place in November for Early Decision I students and January through mid-February for Early Decision II and Regular Decision students. We do our best to interview international applicants as well, but due to the large number of applicants and small number of interviewers abroad, we are unable to guarantee an alumni interview for all applicants living abroad. In those areas with alumni interviewers, we will randomly assign the alumni interviews. Students should always remember that an interview is not a requirement for admission and the absence of an interview will not have a negative impact on the student's admissions decision.
If you would like to discuss Middlebury with a representative in your area, please contact the Admissions Office at 802-443-3000.
