Fall semester bills will be mailed July 1 to the address which the student has designated as the Financially Responsible Party FRP (usually this is the student's permanent address, which may also include a parent name along with the student's).  Payment in full is due by August 15; a $250 late fee penalty is applicable to any account which is not paid in full by that date.  You may see other miscellaneous charges on a student account, such as parking fines, towing charges, music lessons, unreturned library or athletic equipment, dorm damage, etc.  Once the term has begun, for students at our Vermont campus, bills are mailed to the student's campus mailbox; for students who are abroad, bills continue to be mailed to the FRP address.

MYPP (Middlebury Multiple Year Prepayment Plan)

This plan is offered by the College to parents and guardians of students who are not financial aid recipients. Prepayment may be made for two, three, or four years at the current comprehensive fee rate. This payment is made in a lump sum on or before the August 15 due date for fall semester bills (for students entering in the spring semester, the payment must be made by January 15). Regardless of future fee increases, you are guaranteed that this amount will cover the comprehensive fee for each year that is prepaid. If the student withdraws from the College, refunds for the current year are made in accordance with the refund procedures in the College catalog. Refunds for future years which have been prepaid are made in the amount originally prepaid for the year. Payment and two copies of the completed prepayment agreement need to be received in the Controller’s Office no later than August 15, 2009 (January 15, 2010 for students entering in the spring). To obtain more information or copies of the agreement form, please contact Charlene Broughton (cbrought@middlebury.edu), 802-443-5374 or studentfinancialservices@middlebury.edu  (802) 443-5158.

Parent and/or Student Loans
