End-of-Calendar-Year Fundraising Outreach
Appeal to classmates who like to give before the end of the calendar year. If that’s common in your class, please plan to do some email or phone outreach in November and December!
Class Agent Rally: It Starts With You!
Annual Giving volunteers: lead agents, class agents, and Reunion volunteers… the Middlebury Class Agent Rally is back!
Our goal this year is to have ALL fundraising volunteers—including you!—listed as donors by December 31, 2026.
You are leaders in your class and showing that you’ve raised your hand early in support of Middlebury is an important statement of that leadership.
So, get your name up on the leaderboard and help us meet this goal! You’ll be leading by example and inspiring your classmates to join you during winter and spring fundraising campaigns.
Our goal to reach 100% giving by class agents starts with YOU!
5:15-6:00 p.m. EST

The MiddWinter Challenge is the first of two “all hands on deck” campaigns (the other is the June Challenge)—please plan to rally your classmates to participate!

Just for Leads: Spring Appeal Letter
In February we assemble the spring appeal letter from each class’s lead agents to their classmates.
Leads, your Annual Giving staff liaison will be in touch in mid February with a template for you to tailor and a late February deadline by when to return it.
Please note: this task overlaps with MiddWinter Challenge preparation and outreach.
Reunion event ideas deadline
Please bring all your good Reunion event ideas to the table before March to make sure there’s time to turn those ideas into reality!
Once we get to March and registration opens, committees can shift more of their attention to finalizing Reunion plans, and encouraging classmates to attend and make their Reunion class gift.
