Application Process
Middlebury can nominate up to four candidates. To apply for nomination, you will complete work in the Goldwater Application Portal and in MiddApply. See here for detailed instructions.
Watch the Goldwater Application Review Session (Oct 23) for a review of the process and the Goldwater application components.
We recommend submitting the MiddApply and Goldwater Preliminary Application by Oct. 20 to allow time to time to complete the full application.
If you are nominated, you will revise your Goldwater application with the fellowships advisor for submission in late January.

Goldwater Application Process
When applying for many fellowships there is a Middlebury application component and a fellowship provider’s component. See the Goldwater Flowchart to see how these different components relate in completing your application.
