Summer Programs
Humanity in Action: Month-long summer programs looking at human rights, democracy, and structural injustice. Each bridges the international and the domestic, the theoretical and the practical, the political and the personal. Multiple program sites. First-years through seniors eligible.
PPIA Junior Summer Institute: Six-week summer program (fully funded) providing undergraduate students with a deeper understanding of public policy and international affairs, a greater understanding of career opportunities, and graduate school preparation. Juniors only, must be U.S. citizens. Underrepresented students, students with high financial need encouraged to apply.
Rangel Summer Enrichment Program: Six-week summer program (fully funded) providing undergraduate students with a deeper appreciation of current issues and trends in international affairs, a greater understanding of career opportunities in international affairs. Sophomores through seniors eligible, must be U.S. citizens. Underrepresented students, students with high financial need encouraged to apply.
Mount Vernon Leadership Fellows: Six-week summer institute (fully funded) for rising college juniors offering learning and networking opportunities at Mount Vernon and in Washington, DC. Current sophomores only.

Community, Service, Social Impact Fellowships
Alaska Fellows Program: 10-month paid position with non-profit in Anchorage, Juneau, or Sitka
American India Foundation Clinton Fellowship: Ten months of work in NGOs and social enterprises in India.
Catholic Volunteer Network: International and domestic voluntary programs ranging from two-week to two-years.
Emerson National Hunger Fellows Program: Fight hunger and poverty through placements in community based organizations across the country.
FAO Schwarz Fellowships: Two-year, paid social impact fellowship working with partner organization (Boston, NYC, Philadelphia).
Global Health Corps Fellowships: Fight for global health equity through year-long fellowships in Burundi, Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, the U.S., and Zambia.
LGT Venture Philanthropy Impact Fellowship: 11-month position in social organizations located in Latin America, Africa, India, Southeast Asia and China.
Multicultural Fellowship: Two-year, full-time program that aims to increase diversity in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors.
Voyager Scholarship, The Obama-Chesky Fellowship for Public Service: Provides undergraduate funding for students planning to pursue careers in public service, plus summer travel funding and ten-year travel stipend. US citizens, permanent residents and DACA recipients eligible; students apply sophomore year.
Peace Corps: Assist in infrastructure and community development within the country they serve in. Examples of assignments include teaching, construction, community organizing, and medical aid.
Philly Fellows Program: Year-long fellowships that connect college graduates to nonprofit work opportunities in Philadelphia, developing their leadership skills and engaging them in the city’s communities; Current seniors eligible to apply.
Princeton in Africa: Work across Africa for year long service projects focused on education, public health, fresh water and alternative energy, increase family incomes, and so much more.
Princeton in Asia: Service-oriented fellowships in the fields of education, media/journalism, international development (NGOs) and business.
Princeton in Latin America: Service-oriented fellowships for work in NGOs and government and community-based organizations in microfinance, natural resource conservation, public health, education policy, and other areas.
Public Allies: AmeriCorps program in community development NGOs addressing issues including youth development, education, public health, economic development, and the environment.
Ron McKinley Philanthropy Fellowship: Prepares individuals from underrepresented communities for careers in philanthropy.

Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust Resident Scholars Program: Two-year program in Phoenix, Arizona/Maricopa County.
Graduate Program Funding
Scholarships for graduate/professional study in the U.S. Graduate school applicants should check the websites of the universities and degree programs of interest about financial support—this is where the majority of graduate students will find funding (or not, depending on the norms for that area of graduate study).
If you are not a U.S. citizen, see if your country’s ministry for education (or equivalent) has any scholarships or fellowships for graduate study. Typically applications for external fellowship support are made around the time of your graduate program applications, unless otherwise noted.

Department of Defense STEM Scholarship Programs Provides tuition and stipend support for graduate study in STEM fields relevant to DoD.
Ford Foundation Fellowship Programs Predoctoral, dissertation, and postdoctoral fellowships are available to U.S. citizens, nationals, and permanent residents, as well as individuals granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program, political asylees, and refugees.
Hertz Foundation Graduate Fellowships Supports graduate study in the applied physical, biological, and engineering sciences for U.S. citizens and permanent residents.

Root-Tilden-Kern (RTK) Scholarship Program Provides full-tuition scholarships to NYU Law School for students seeking to work in public interest law.
Rotary Peace Fellowship Supports MA programs in fields related to peace and conflict prevention and resolution or (2) 3-month fellowships for experienced professionals working in peace-related fields at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand.
Samvid Scholars Provides two-years of graduate school funding and leadership development for future changemakers. Eligible programs include: MD, JD, MBA, MPH, MPP/MPA, EdD, and MA/MS programs in social sciences or STEM. US citizens and DACA recipients eligible.
