Deadlines
St. Andrews applicants apply for nomination through the UK-Irish scholarship process in early April. If a candidate is not identified in April, the nomination process may be opened back up for a November internal deadline. The St. Andrews final deadline is December 14. Contact Dean Gates with questions.
Application Process
To apply, you must be nominated. Middlebury can nominate one candidate per year and typically selects that nominee through the UK-Irish nomination process in April. If no nominee is selected in the spring, we will invite nomination applications in the fall semester.
Candidates applying for nomination in the fall submit a draft of the application, based on the requirements on the St. Andrews Society website, a resume, unofficial transcript and names of faculty who will write recommendation letters supporting this application via email to fellowships@middlebury.edu by the internal deadline of November 10. Interested candidates should contact the fellowships office to confirm the status of the St. Andrews availability prior to applying for nomination in the fall.
