Middlebury College welcomes visitors at the Admissions Office in the Emma Willard House at 131 South Main Street in Middlebury. Parking is available in the lot next to the Admissions Office or in the lot behind the Center for the Arts (campus map) a short walk from our office.

Information Sessions and Tours

Our information sessions are available twice daily, Monday - Friday, at 10:00AM and 1:30PM. Tours follow at 11:00AM and 2:30PM.

Important dates: Our office will close early on December 15th at 3PM. Our office is closed for winter break (December 25th - January 2nd). Information sessions are not offered from December 18th through January 3rd. Tours will resume on January 8th.

On Martin Luther King Day (January 15th), we offer both the morning information session at 10AM followed by the 11AM tour and an afternoon information session at 1:30PM followed by at tour at 2:30PM.

We will not be able to offer tours during our February Break (February 5th-9th) or during Winter Carnival (February 22nd and 23rd).

Saturday morning information sessions and tours will resume July 7th, 2018 and will run through mid-November 2018.

Register here for an information session or campus tour.

We do not restrict the number of visitors, but we would prefer that you fill out the visit form two weeks in advance of your visit.

If you would like to visit with a group of 10 or more, please fill out our group visit request form at least three weeks in advance. Your request will be reviewed by the Admissions Office, and we will do our best to accommodate your group. Group visits are subject to the academic calendar and the availability of admission staff and student tour guides.

If you need any special accommodations, please contact Admissions at least two weeks in advance.

Visiting a Class

Prospective students are welcome to visit classes. Please consult the course schedule and keep in mind that classes at the 100 or 200 level are most appropriate. Please arrive a few minutes before class, or email the professor in advance to ask permission, as there may be an exam planned or other reason why it would be best not to have visitors that day.
