Presented by the Bread Loaf Theatre, directed by guest director Brian McEleney. McEleney is the Head of MFA Acting at Brown University and the Assistant Director at Trinity Repertory. The Bread Loaf Acting Ensemble features eight Equity actors this summer from Trinity Rep and New York.  "While the play is not traditional Elizabethan costumes and staging, it is very true to Shakespeare's intent," McEleney said. "One of the great things is to experience falling in love, which is one of the greatest of human experiences.  With this play, we get to do it in a safe way-- whether we are married or single or just in a relationship, we get to feel the intense rush of first love." Tickets are free, but reservations are required.  Call 802-443-2737 for reservations or more information. A 7:30 P.M. madrigal concert on the lawn precedes each performance.
