Display Will Include Quilts, Pottery, Furniture, and More
Middlebury, VT—The Middlebury College Staff Council will host an exhibition of arts and crafts at 1:00–4:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 15 at the Mahaney Center for the Arts. The show will include everything from basketry to beadwork, pottery, and more, created by a dozen Middlebury College staff members from all walks of life.
Among the exhibitors are Maura Clancy with handmade baskets; Cheryl Burnham and Arabella Holzapfel with hand-knit and beaded items; Wayne Darling with rustic furniture; Sandy Bonomo with quilts; and Amy Holbrook, Jonathan Dow, and EJ Bartlett with visual works. Visitors may browse and enjoy the exhibition, and enjoy a casual reception of wine, beer, and appetizers. The event is organized by the Middlebury College Staff Council, and supported by the Office of the President.
The Middlebury College Staff Arts/Crafts Exhibition will take place from 1:00–4:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 15, 2014 in the lower lobby of the Kevin P. Mahaney ’84 Center for the Arts, on the Middlebury College campus. The event is free and open to the public. The Mahaney Center for the Arts is located at 72 Porter Field Road in Middlebury, just off Route 30 south. Free parking is available.
