Dr. Motoko Tabuse received her Ph.D in the Foreign Language Studies from The Ohio State University, and is a professor at the Department of World Languages at Eastern Michigan University. She was Chief Reader of the Advanced Placement of the Japanese Language and Culture Exam (2014-2018) and Vice President and President of the American Association of Teacher of Japanese (AATJ) (2013-2016). She is currently serving as a world language consultant for the College Board. She is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences. She enjoys Zumba and aqua aerobics.
