This one-week intensive course is for non-native Italian speakers who are teachers of Italian, who have lived in Italy in the past, or who are former graduate students of Italian.
The course will review grammatical structures at the graduate level and will review all of the verb tenses (especially the subjunctive and se clauses), prepositions, idiomatic expressions, and pronouns. It will also concentrate on how to increase reading and writing skills. Participants will live on campus, eat meals in the dining halls, and sign the Language Pledge. The course will meet for 3 hours a day.
Dates: July 2 – July 11 (classes begin July 4)
