Graduate Summer Session in Buenos Aires, Argentina
In 2012, the Middlebury College Spanish School inaugurated a graduate program in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
With the establishment of this option, graduate students who do not have the flexibility to spend a year in Spain now have the opportunity to study and live in a Spanish-speaking environment, absorb the culture and language of Argentina, and advance their studies toward the Middlebury Master of Arts (M.A.) in Spanish or the Doctor of Modern Languages (D.M.L.).
The program in Buenos Aires is offered exclusively to MA and DML students who have already completed their MA or DML "summer of candidacy" on our campus in Vermont. Priority for acceptance is given to 4th-and 3rd-year Middlebury MA students, as well as DML students. The program is also open to Spanish MA and doctoral students enrolled in accredited universities. Second-year MA students will be considered if space is available.
