Peter Moore

Peter Moore is the Assistant Director of Enrollment at the Middlebury Language Schools. A longtime veteran of Middlebury and the Language Schools, Peter is a double alumnus of the College (BA 2014, MA 2024), attended the Language Schools four times (German and Russian) and studied at Middlebury’s Schools Abroad in Germany and Kazakhstan. 

Peter also worked previously at Middlebury’s Museum of Art and as a bilingual assistant in the School of Russian. For most of his professional career, Peter has been a language teacher, teaching English, German and Japanese to students aged 3–66 in Austria, Hungary and, most recently, Poland. Originally from just outside of Tokyo, Japan, Peter is fond of languages, music and cats. Summer is his favorite time of year in Middlebury because it’s very exciting to hear people speaking in different languages all around campus.
