Welcome to the Middlebury College MiddView site!

***Important September 1 Arrival Information***

Due to our narrow roads and the volume of traffic we experience on this day, we ask those of you who are driving to please proceed directly to your Commons Arrival Point when you get to campus.  Here are the locations:

•  Atwater Commons – Parking Lot E, Allen Hall (148 Chateau Road)
•  Brainerd Commons – Stewart Hall (167 Hepburn Road)
•  Cook Commons – Parking Lot R (70 Ridgeline Road)
•  Ross Commons – Parking Lot S (276 Bicentennial Way)
•  Wonnacott Commons - Parking Lot R (70 Ridgeline Road)

For those of you who are moving into Cook, Ross, and Wonnacott, we will direct you from the arrival points to your Commons Offices as space becomes available.  Please note that there may be a delay depending on the volume of traffic when you arrive.

For those of you driving oversize vehicles or pulling trailers, we may need to make special arrangements for you.  The parking staff stationed at the arrival points on Monday will provide you with directions.

Additional notes:
• Move-in takes place between 9am and 2pm on Monday.  Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate early arrivals (other than fall varsity athletes and students travelling from abroad).
• When you arrive at your Commons Welcome Center, our residential life and custodial staff members will be ready to assist you with moving items from your car to the residence hall.
• As soon as you’ve emptied your vehicle, someone in your party should immediately move your vehicle to one of our parking lots to help make room for the next person.

If you arrive after noon on Monday, September 1, please proceed directly to your Commons Office.

What's MiddView? MiddView is Middlebury College's new student orientation program. Please bookmark this site and check it regularly. Eventually, most of what you receive by mail will also appear here. In addition, we will post many of the "nuts and bolts" regarding your arrival at Middlebury, what to expect during MiddView, and general information about student life on campus. As you look around, you will find links that take you to different key points that constitute this larger bundle of information.

I encourage you to read through this material at your leisure—you can browse around or read it all in order. Should you have any questions, feel free to call us at 802-443-3103 or send an e-mail to middview@middlebury.edu

All the best,
