Welcome Incoming Middkids!
As September quickly approaches, we are getting more and more excited to meet each and every one of you. We can assure you that you’ve made a great choice in deciding to attend Middlebury--what makes Middlebury so special to us are the outstanding individuals who make up our engaging and vibrant community, and we can’t wait to see what you all will contribute during your time here.
My name is Ian Delabie and I am one of the MiddView Interns. I am a member of the class of 2017 and I am a double major in Physics and Political Science. I finished my high school experience in Singapore and was lucky enough to end up studying in the Green Mountain State. On campus, I am a proud member of the Middlebury Crew Team and I am also involved in the Community Friends program. When I am not zooming around campus, you can find me in the intentional living house called Munford. In my free time, I enjoy creating funky playlists, looking up random facts, camping, reading and hanging out with friends.
And I’m Zara Corzine, at Midd all the way from Nashville, Tennessee. I'm a sophomore Feb here at Midd, majoring in Art History and dabbling in Psychology, English, Education Studies, and French as I try and figure out what I'd like to minor in. On campus, I'm on the Academic Judicial Board and I am a Tour Guide (so may have met some of you already!), and I’m about to start my second year working for Residential Life on campus. In my spare time, I love exploring the beautiful areas around Middlebury, dancing, cooking, and catching up with friends and family.
We’ve made it our project this summer to introduce you to the close-knit Middlebury community we’ve come to love, and we can’t wait for your arrival. We hope you enjoy the rest of your summers, and in the meantime, feel free to reach out to us if there’s anything we can do to make your transition to Middlebury easier. We can’t wait to see you in September!
Take care, comb your hair,
Zara Corzine and Ian Delabie
