This page lists the types of equipment provided by Information Technology Services (ITS) and the locations where they can be found.
Public Computers
There are both Mac and PC computers available for general use across campus:

Note: Guests will need to obtain a password from the library circulation desk in order to use computers. This password changes daily.
College-Owned Computers
ITS strives to provide the tools our customers need for their work. We fund primary use computers for staff and faculty, as well as lab, classroom, and public computers. We also procure and manage computers purchased with non-ITS funds. For detailed information, refer to our equipment policy page.
Public Printers
Konica multi-function units that can print, copy, and scan are publicly-available to Middlebury students, staff, and faculty, as follows:

Department Printers
In addition to the public access printers listed above, many offices and departments have networked multi-function printers that can print, copy, scan, and fax. There are two types provided by ITS:
- Full-size multi-function printers can print up to 11”x17” size paper.
- Desk top multi-function printer can print up to 11”x14” (legal) size paper.

Poster/Plotter Printers
Two public plotters are available:
- Davis Family Library 242
- Armstrong Library, bottom floor cubby (McCardell Bi-Hall) 155
Armstrong Library must be open in order for you to retrieve your print job from the plotter. See go/hours.

Stand-alone Scanners
In addition to the scanning capabilities available on our public and department printers, there are stand-alone scanners available for general use on the Middlebury campus in the following areas:

Smart classrooms provide the necessary equipment for video and computer projection. Some include built-in desktop computers, but all of them are ready for a laptop connection.
