Roberta Books: Level 1 to Level 5 Russian
My son first convinced me to enroll in the Middlebury School of Russian. His plan was to do Russian level 1, and I would do Russian level 2. He had done the Italian School and liked it.
My son ended up not enrolling, but I have come to Middlebury the last four summers and just finished level 5. I had previously studied Russian 68 years ago in high school. It was a thrill to be learning again in a challenging, supportive academic environment, and on a gorgeous campus at that. I had taken all of this for granted in my undergraduate years, but I now full well understood what a great privilege I was enjoying.
