We help students acquire the knowledge they’ll need to engage Middlebury’s academic program with integrity.

Citation Guide

Our Citation and Style Guide is one of the most popular guides in our research guides collection. It discusses why scholars cite sources and gives examples of common styles and formats. Students may find it easier to consistently cite if they use citation management tools like Zotero. We’d love to talk with you about workshops and assignments.

Academic Integrity Tutorial

We encourage you to use the Academic Integrity Tutorial. The Academic Integrity Tutorial is an optional, interactive learning tool that helps students practice citing sources and applying the Middlebury Honor Code in different contexts. The tutorial also can be useful as a diagnostic tool. If you link it from your Course Hub, it will show you the aspects of academic integrity with which your students are struggling.

Preview the Academic Integrity Tutorial at go/ait/ (when you are asked to enroll, simply log in with your Middlebury username and password). Learn how to set it up in your course hub at go/aithelp. Contact your librarian for additional support and to find out how other faculty have used the tutorial in their classes.
