Audio

Audio files are one of three types of media files that can be uploaded to your page. The other media files include video files and image files.

The website supports MP3 audio files with a maximum file size of 150 MB.

To add an audio file to your page, in the component tab toward the bottom of the page, select “Add Audio”.

Content > Media

After you choose to add audio, you will have the option to “Add New Media” or “Add Existing Media”. “New Media” is a file you have on your computer or another location you will need to upload to the site. “Existing Media” is a file you have already saved to the website and can find with the Media files on the site.

To add a file not yet saved to the website, select “Add New Media”

Content > Media

Once you select “Add New Media” you will have the option to give your audio file a name. Be sure to name your audio file a name you’ll remember or be able to search easily. Your file will be saved with all media files in the website, so you won’t have to upload your file again — you’ll just search the media file repository.

Content > Media

Once you have named your file, you’ll browse your computer for the audio file you’d like to upload. Select your file, and click “Open”.

Content > Media

Next, to upload the audio file to your page, select “Select Audio” then “Save”.

To add a file already saved to the website, select “Add Existing Media”

Since you’ve uploaded an audio file to the website, it is saved with other uploaded media files.

After you select “Add Existing Media” a window will open displaying all the media files saved to the website. Again, this list includes audio, video and image files. You can browse for your audio file, or, if you remember the name of your audio file, you can use the search option to find the file.

Once you locate your audio file, select the box next to it, then scroll to the bottom of the open window and select “Select Audio”.
