Related basic content

The Related Basic Content component allows you to include a menu of related pages to your page, with a call to action.

Once you have added Related Basic Content to your page, it will look like this:

Content > Media

To add Related Basic Content to your page, you will first select “Add Related Basic Content” at the bottom of the page in the Components tab.

Content > Media

Once you’ve selected “Add Related Basic Content” you will see this:

Content > Media

You have the option here to give your Related Basic Content a Title – in this case “Related Basic Content Title”

Content > Media

Next, you will provide the url of the page you’d like the call to action to link to, in this case http://www.middlebury.edu.

Content > Media

Then, you can give your url “Link text”. Link text is the word or phrase which will link out to http://www.middlebury.edu. In this case the link text is “Example CTA”—CTA stands for Call to Action.

Content > Media

Now you have the opportunity to add the Related Basic Content you’d like. On the completed page above, the Related Basic Content was “About the Institute”, “Student Life”, and “Immersive Experience”.

You can see here, once I start typing the first Related Basic Content, “About the Institute” into the Related Content box, a list appears of everything tagged with “about the…

Content > Media

You will select “About the Institute”.

Next, you can add another Related Basic Content by selecting “Add another item” here:

Content > Media

The process for adding additional Related Basic Content is the same. You may continue adding Related Basic Content until you are done. Once you are finished, be sure to click the blue “Save” button at the bottom of the page.

Once again, your list of Related Basic Content will look like this:
