Related events

The Related Events component allows you to include a menu of related events to your page, with a call to action.

Once you have added Related Events to your page, it will look like this:

Content > Media

To add Related Events to your page, you will first select “Add Related Events” at the bottom of the page in the Components tab.

Content > Media

Once you’ve selected “Add Related Events” you will see this:

Content > Media

You have the option here to give your Related Events a Title – in this case “Related Events Title”

You will also have the option to choose the maximum number of events you’d like to display. In this case, we are choosing to display three events.

Content > Media

Next, you will provide the url of the page you’d like the call to action to link to, in this case http://www.middlebury.edu.

Content > Media

Then, you can give your url “Link text”. Link text is the word or phrase which will link out to http://www.middlebury.edu. In this case the link text is “Sample Link Text”.

Content > Media

Now you have the opportunity to add the Related Events you’d like. On the completed page above, the Related Events are all events tagged with McCone Irvine Auditorium.

You can see here, once I start typing the Related Events tagged with , “McCone…” into the Related Events box, a list appears of everything tagged with “mccone…”

Content > Media

You will select “McCone Irvine Auditorium”.

Be sure to select the blue “Save” button at the bottom of the page.

Once again, your list of Related Events will look like this:
