Julie Gramling

Julie joined Middlebury College in 2016, working in the Language Schools for four years before starting in the Admissions Office, where she oversees the Alumni Admissions Program and college fairs. Not a native Vermonter (but married to one!), Julie hails from Glen Ellyn, a suburb west of Chicago. She earned her BFA in Visual Communications from Columbia College in Chicago and worked as a graphic designer for five years in Chicago before moving to Vermont. She continued her design work in Burlington, and eventually freelanced, while raising her three children and staying active in the school community. When not busy connecting with Middlebury alumni, Julie enjoys gardening, biking, visiting art museums, beachcombing, taking road trips, and camping on the Maine coast with her husband and kids.
