Why did you choose to attend Middlebury? I chose Middlebury College because it seemed to be the best place for me to try a little bit of everything and learn a whole lot. For years, my answer to the question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” changed each time I was asked. With Middlebury’s distribution requirements and variety of courses and disciplines, I wanted to be able to take courses in subjects that I found interesting but had nothing in common with each other. Here at Midd, I am exploring the things I enjoy and getting closer to a consistent answer for what I want to be when I grow up.

Favorite study spot? The greenhouse room on the 6th floor of McCardell Bicentennial Hall

Favorite food in the dining hall? Cheeseburgers

Where did you study abroad, or where would you study abroad if you could? I hope to study abroad in Oxford, England or Paris, France. I’d go to Oxford for its amazing humanities program or Paris to continue working on my French!

Favorite Vermont spot? The wooden bridge in town connecting the main town center to Marble Works.

One fun fact about you or unknown talent you have: I write short stories and I really love exploring. One of my goals is to explore every inch of this campus, town, and beyond.
