Favorite study spot? Bi Hall is definitely my go-to study spot! There’s plenty of space to have group study sessions with your friends, but also room for quiet study when it’s needed
Favorite food in the dining hall? Everything that Atwater serves when they do breakfast for dinner. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, so any time I get to have it twice is a plus for me!
Favorite Vermont spot: Bristol (or Bartlett) Falls. It’s a great spot near Middlebury to hang out with friends, enjoy the warm weather, and jump in the water (even if it’s a little cold sometimes!).
Favorite academic experience: I took a class called Town and Gown during my sophomore year with Professor Livny, which was all about the history of the relationship between Middlebury College and the town of Middlebury. It was fascinating to dive deeper into the topic, including visits to the archives to examine primary sources dating back to the college’s founding!
Where did you study abroad? I studied in Bordeaux, France during the fall of my junior year. I had an awesome host family, met so many great friends, and got to travel all across Europe! I highly recommend study abroad programs to all students.
Why did you choose to attend Middlebury? I chose to attend Middlebury because it’s a place that encourages students to be well-rounded. I knew I wanted to swim at the collegiate level, but also have the time to get involved in other extracurricular activities, take interesting courses, and build relationships with my peers and professors. My experience at Middlebury has been nothing short of that, and now I’m eager to share my stories with prospective students and families!
