What’s your favorite study spot on campus? My favorite study spot on campus is Crossroads Cafe in Davis Library. The natural lighting makes it feel like you are outside and it is always busy so you get to see lots of friends!

Favorite food in the dining hall? My favorite food is the pre-made salads from Atwater Dining Hall. In my opinion, the best is the goat cheese salad with fresh cheese from Vermont. 

Favorite Vermont spot? Favorite Middlebury location? My favorite place in the town of Middlebury is Little Seed Cafe. I always do work there and their maple latte is amazing. I also love the school mountain, the SnowBowl. In the off season, you can hike to the top of the mountain and watch the sunrise!

Where did you study abroad? I studied abroad in Prague. I learned Czech and was there for the world-famous Christmas markets!

What has been the best, most interesting, or most thought-provoking class you’ve taken at Middlebury? The most interesting class I have taken at Middlebury was a class over our January term called Sports and Society. It was taught by the Middlebury Baseball coach and a Middlebury alum and we got to learn about all of the different career paths in sports and how they impact society.

Now that you’re a senior, what advice would you give your younger self about college admissions or the transition into college? Try to take a deep breath! The college process can be so overwhelming and I know its hard to accept, but you will end up exactly where you are meant to be! Keep and open mind and know that everything will work out. 

Why did you choose to attend Middlebury? I chose Middlebury because I was drawn to the tight-knit community. In high school I had the misconception that I would meet more people at a larger school, and then eventually realized that you actually get to know more people at a smaller school. After talking to Middlebury students before applying, I realized how everyone had such close bonds with all of their peers across the four different classes, and knew this was the school for me.
