Midori Iwamoto teaches Japanese language at Middlebury College. She has also taught at the Middlebury Language Schools since 2022. She holds an MA in Japanese from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and an MA in Education from Carthage College. Her teaching experience spans both public universities and liberal arts colleges, including the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Binghamton University (SUNY), and Carthage College
