Georgia loved being a Middlebury student so much that, following her graduation in 2025, she refused to leave and is now delighted to serve as an Admissions Counselor. Georgia majored in Political Science and spent her senior year researching Vermont state and local politics at the most local level by diving into town identity politics in the school boards of Vermont’s small towns. This project made her even more passionate about our “brave little state” and heightened her awareness of and interest in the challenges facing educational institutions at all levels. Taking advantage of Middlebury’s renowned study abroad opportunities, Georgia also spent the spring of her junior year studying British politics and the works of JRR Tolkien at Middlebury’s humanities program at Keble College in Oxford. Outside the classroom, Georgia was the president of WRMC 91.1-FM, Middlebury’s public radio station, and she worked as a Peer Career Advisor at the Center for Careers and Internships (CCI). Georgia is thrilled to start her professional career in Vermont, where she loves skiing, running, climbing, and browsing at used bookstores.
