Lois Alberts

Lois was born and raised in the town of Middlebury. After five years away from Vermont, she is delighted to be back in her hometown, having joined the Middlebury College staff as an Admissions Counselor. Lois earned her BA in Sociology from Macalester College, where one of her favorite experiences was welcoming first-year students as an orientation leader. After graduating in 2025, she spent a year working for a study abroad company, supporting enrollment initiatives and first-year student programming in Stockholm, Sweden. She is passionate about student belonging and hopes to help prospective students envision what “home” can look like at Middlebury. Lois spends most of her free time with her family watching Middlebury sporting events, playing golf or tennis, and visiting with residents at Eastview, one of Middlebury’s senior living communities.
