Why did you choose to attend Middlebury?

When I heard that at Middlebury, you could not only learn a language in 6 weeks over the summer, but also go abroad and take classes for your degree in the language, I knew immediately that Middlebury would be the place for me.

What is your favorite study spot on campus?

If you go to the sixth floor in Bicentennial Hall, you not only get the best views of the rolling fields surrounding Middlebury but also the college greenhouse is right next door. Unfortunately, you might end up window gazing rather than actually studying as I usually end up doing…

If you could go back in time, what advice would you give your younger self during the college search/application process?

Take your time to think. Don’t just fill boxes with words just because they have to be filled. If you are meant to be in a place, it will happen. If not, you will find your way to somewhere you are supposed to be. You have this incredible ability to adapt, so you will be fine wherever you end up. Reach out for support! Your essay will never be perfect, just submit it.
