Favorite study spot? A random open classroom in Axinn
Favorite food in the dining hall? Fried ravioli
Favorite Vermont spot: the Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail, near where my grandparents live. Spending time there made me fall in love with Vermont’s beauty and nature.
Favorite academic experience: Any class with Dr. B (Professor Susan Burch) in the American Studies department.
Where did you study abroad? I did not study abroad but I took German at Middlebury, so I would have loved to do one of the schools abroad there - especially the Berlin program!
Why did you choose to attend Middlebury? I chose Middlebury because I wanted a small school with a close-knit, supportive community. I loved that the rural location let me be surrounded by nature while still being part of a vibrant campus. I was drawn by the language programs as well, which offered opportunities I hadn’t had before, and I was excited to explore a wide range of interests across different disciplines. I knew Middlebury would be a place where I could grow academically, pursue my passions, and be part of a community that values curiosity and connection.
