Middlebury Language Schools is looking forward to Summer 2025 in Middlebury and Bennington, Vermont. You can apply through May 15, 2025. 

While our summer immersion programs are in Vermont (English is in California), our graduate programs are in Vermont and also have options in Argentina, Spain, France, Kazakhstan, Italy, Germany, and online. Please see our program options. 

For up to date information, please check our Admissions Events. Our application opened November 1 for Summer 2025. You can use this guide to begin preparing your application materials. 

New for Summer 2025

  • Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) with Licensure offers a secondary (7–12) teaching license in modern languages valid for teaching in the U.S. public school systems. The master’s degree is offered in 9 languages and is both in person during the summer and online during the academic year.
  • Russian Heritage Program (4-week in person) is for heritage learners who grew up speaking Russia and seek to strengthen their reading, writing, and knowledge of grammar.
  • Master’s Degree Dates: This summer our master’s degrees will start (and end!) one week earlier. The 6-weeks summer will run Friday, June 27 to Friday, August 8.
