Violet (Wetherell) Richard, Courtney Monnich, and David Ulrich, Master’s in Spanish alumni, led a group of 14 students to Peru for a 2-week expedition and homestay.

All three alumni are teachers at the Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, Massachusetts. The majority of the Modern Language department at the Noble and Greenough School earned their graduate degrees from Middlebury.

Violet said, “We had such a great time exploring the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, as well as connecting with a local school and community in Trujillo, where our students spent a week with families and attending school.”

We loved our Middlebury experiences, and we all feel very privileged to be able to share our interests with our students!
