The Atelier nature et histoire or Nature and History Workshop makes three excursions on weekends throughout the summer. Two are to nearby mountain peaks while the third is a guided tour of sites relevant to the French exploration and colonization of the Champlain Valley.

At the end of the summer the faculty and students of the French School put on a variety show or Cabaret, composed of lively skits, songs and dances. It is the culmination of a summer-long effort and is always well loved by all.

The French School Choir rehearses throughout the summer for a concert in the final days of the session. It gives students the opportunity to display and develop their musical talent while working on their French phonetics!

The French School has both a class in theater at the graduate level and a workshop for students and teachers. Both put on a presentation at the end of the summer.

Every week a hearty band of aerobics enthusiasts joined faculty member Sylvie Requemora for an intense, hour-long workout with all commands given in French, of course.
