ESTHER ROBBINS- A native of Israel, Ester was born in the small town of Zichron- Yaaqov. She began teaching Hebrew at American University in Washington, D.C. and consequently moved to Georgetown University, where she taught for several years. Ms. Robbins also taught at the Middle East Institute. Ester has also been a long time facutly member at the summer Hebrew program at Brandeis University. Since 1989, Ms. Robbins has been developing courses and materials on Contemporary Israeli Culture. Her belief is that language can not be detached from the culture.
