A visit by renowned filmmaker Vladimir Khotinenko (72 Meters, The Muslim, Mirror for a Hero) A visit by popular screenwriter, playwrite, and author Aleksandr Chervinsky (Shishkin's Wood) A concert by visiting folk ensemble Zolotoi Plios Showings of the classic silent movies "Twilight of a Woman's Soul" and "The Dying Swan," with live accompaniment An evening of twentieth-century poetry and music featuring actor Veniamin Smexov and musicians N. Kogan and J. Milkis A live performance of Igor Stravinsky's "A Soldier's Tale," in honor of the sixtieth anniversary of the Russian School; A performance of "Russian Christmas" by the Russian School Student Choir; A production of Lev Tostoi's "The Fruits of Enlightenment"; A student conference Three film series (comedies, tragedies, and current TV series); Charades, Karaoke, Field days, Soccer, Volleyball, tea salons, a literary salon & bookstore, roundtables on living, working, an studying in Russia (featuring current and past Russian School students), student newspaper and films A wide range of clubs and other informal activities For details on the 2005 program, see the school calendar.
