Carlos Sefamí is an undergraduate at UC Santa Barbara where he plans on majoring in mechanical engineering. He spent his first two years of high school in Madrid where he gained an appreciation of Spanish culture and Real Madrid fútbol. He also travels frequently to Mexico. He loves sports—especially snowboarding and racquetball. His first trip to Middlebury was back in 1991 when he accompanied his parents who were on the summer faculty. This summer he looks forward to returning to the Spanish School as a bilingual assistant.
