Heather Quarles, born and raised on the beautiful and rugged Oregon coast, has been teaching language courses at the University of Oregon since she graduated from there with her Masters six years ago. She earned her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Spanish with a focus on Hispanic-Jewish Literature, which she learned to love while living in Argentina during her student years. For the past four years she has made her summer home teaching at the Middlebury Spanish School in pastoral Vermont and spent last Winter and Spring in beautiful colonial Querétaro, Mexico leading a study abroad program for the University of Oregon.
